I've neglected my blog because I didn't feel like I had anything important to say. Not that most things I talk about are important, but you know...I didn't have anything interesting to share.
I have some really awesome news now! We're moving!!!!
How'd that happen, you ask? We knew our house wasn't THE ONE - that part was easy. Financially this is an incredible opportunity - check two. And we should be able to sell our old home fairly quickly if we price it right which will refund us back escrow, taxes, and insurance that we prepaid for the year -another check. The kids get to stay at the same school - check, check, check!
So it happened a little fast that this "new" house became "ours", and it's been a whirlwind week for me. I've been painting, shopping, scheduling repairs and installations since Monday, and I am exhausted. It's a good exhausted, but I am tired. And Dave has been busy with work and side jobs so he hasn't been able to help except to take my 20+ phone calls a day "updating him on my progress".
Another new thing to share is that I got a mattress topper for our bed. Once I get a mask and a white noise machine I should be good to go in the sleep department! Do you remember that post?? Well that clock broke so I returned it. I already have it's replacement in mind....
And finally, we're going to Colorado in exactly 1 month! I enjoy and look forward to our yearly ski trips and the kids are so pumped. I can't wait because this year, so long as schedules align, we'll be meeting friends who live in Denver and also some friends flying in from Miami for their own ski vacation that just happened to coincide with ours!
That's all for now....I am feeling really comfy in this bed and sleep's calling my name.
