We're down to the final days of living in our old home. Today the furniture we ordered arrives at the new house so technically we can start moving. All the rooms have ceiling fans w/ lights, every room is painted, the appliances are in, the carpet installed, new back door, new a/c unit, and the house is clean. We're ready to rock in roll.
For the past 3 weeks or so since my last post we've been working hard on getting the new place ready and also selling old furniture that would not be moving with us. There are huge laundry piles everywhere - as we've sold most of the dressers in this place. It's a neat freak's nightmare. I'll live...it's all temporary. That's my mantra these days anyway. In the meantime we're having to search random tables and floors for socks and underwear.
